Although the 5th person in my room is going to be my 3 year old....and therefore sleeping in my bed with my wife and I....there would be no problem with having a need for any additional bed. That way you could open the door between the two rooms and it will work almost like a suite. However, the kids had no issues bringing their power strip into their cabin. I was glad to see that water wasn't covering their bathroom floor.

The Magic’s 5-person cabins have 2 bunk beds in line rather than across the room from each other. Also two regular twin beds plus a couch that makes into a bed. When the room is set up for five one side has all the bunks and the other one lone bed. The grandkids wanted the bunks so this was my first cruise in a cabin with bunks where I wasn’t the one in the bunk.

As it happens my brother decided to come along on the cruise too, so we are getting two cabins- me, my brother and my DD in one cabin, and my friend and her two DDs in the other cabin.
